Had a great time working on a feature recalling players' memories of first MLB on TV. Grateful to Dodgers historian, Mark Langhill, for this 1952 picture of Boys of Summer legend Carl Erskine, a delightful man. Had a chance to speak with Erskine, Whiz Kid Bob Miller and Eddie Robinson who did not watch TV 'til after WWII. They recall the first TV cameras around the field, but didn't think too much about the "electric eyes"- they played the game as usual and had a ball. 80 years after 1st televised MLB game, overall, they think TV is a bonus for BB.
