Eddie Robinson, Penning Next Book

September 20, 2019

At 98 Eddie Robinson is the second-oldest living MLB player and the 1948 World Series champion is busy penning his second book.  The Paris, Texas, native defeated the Cloudbusters in 1943 when he played for a Navy team based out of Norfolk Naval Station in Virginia.  As you can see from the photo taken at a men's night out in Fort Worth last week, Eddie (The Big Easy) is still as handsome as ever.  He worked with Paul Rogers on his last book, "Lucky Me" and he's collaborating with Skipper Steely, a writer and former golf buddy on his newest book about a player who signed in 1939. Can't wait to read it!
